The
second Monday after Easter Brasov County:”The Junii Holiday
& Parade”:
The Young Junii use to gather in Zimen's courtyard, where the old people
say "Craisorul" (the most important ruler of Tara Barsei who
fought for independence) was buried. The next stop is on Tuesday, in
Prund, where Craisorul had the commandment house. On Wednesday, the
Young Junii and the Old Junii are continuing their procession to Pietrele
lui Solomon, where it is supposed to be Craisorul's citadel and the
place where he died while he was trying to get away from his enemies.
On Thursday, Junii use to go to Poalele Dorului, where the legends say
Craisorul buried a treasure. The procession ends on Friday, when the
Young Junii are getting involved in some kind of a competition trying
to prove who is the best.
