Day 1 – In the morning departure from Bucharest to Tulcea; short sightseeing tour including the Danube Delta Museum; embarkation on the floating hotel (equipped with DBL cabins - each with toilet, AC, bar – restaurant, other facilities); welcome cocktail (champagne and carp caviar); accommodation and dinner on board (fish specialities – grilled mackerel or sheat fish, with boiled potatoes; regional dry white wine; fresh fruits);
Option 1A (FITs – maximum 5 persons): embarkation on high-speed boat and transfer directly to Sfantu Gheorghe; accommodation and dinner in a 3* pension.

Day 2 – Early departure by floating-hotel towards the Black Sea, on Sfantu Gheorghe arm, the older and most beautiful of the Danube branches. Breakfast on board (traditional omelet, little wursts, coffee / tea). On our way to Sfantu Gheorghe you can stay on the open-air deck and observe interesting species of birds: Cormorants, Herons, Egrets, Ducks, Terns, Sandpipers, maybe the White–tailed Eagle, Pelicans and Pygmy Cormorants. Lunch on board (vegetable soup, chicken legs joint with French fries and crepes with jam). Arrival at Sfantu Gheorghe village in the afternoon. Short visit in the village, with the possibility to admire ancient houses, built in an old Russian style. Dinner (pressed cheese and the famous Romanian bortsch –fish soup). Accommodation on board.
In case of choosing option 1A: breakfast at the guesthouse in Sfantu Gheorghe; trip by fast-boat to the sea; free time for sunbathing and swimming; return to the house by foot; lunch; time at leisure; accommodation and dinner.

Day 3 – After breakfast (eggs, pressed ham, coffee, tea) we start to explore Sfantu Gheorghe secondary delta by towboat / motor boat, including visits to the fishery and travel on the sand of Sacalin Island (at the Black Sea). Here you can observe rare species of birds, such as Dalmatian Pelican, White Pelican, Great White Egret, Spoonbill, Shelduck, Oystercatcher, Black – winged Stilt, Avocet, Curlew, Caspian Tern and many other water species.
Lunch on board / at the pension – soup with hashed meat, pork escalope with mushrooms and rice, fruits. Birdwatching in the afternoon in the marshes near the village of Sfantu Gheorghe. In that marshes you can observe colonies of Common Tern, Whiskered tern, White- winged Black Tern, Black Tern, Black Headed Gull, Black – winged Stilt and in reed plot Warblers and Bluethroat. Near to Sfantu Gheorghe you can observe particularly rare and threatened plants including Convolvulus persica, Ephedra distachya, Merendera sobolifera, Plantago coronopus and Petunia parviflora (IUCN,1986). The forest areas contain several rare reptiles, including Vipera ursini, Elaphe longisima and Eremias arguta deserti (IUCN,1986).
Traditional Romanian cuisine evening – pike roe and carp in piquant marinade, apple at oven. Accommodation on board / at the guesthouse.

Day 4 – Breakfast. The floating hotel will set out towards Tulcea (optionally, transfer by fast-boat).
During the journey you can watch the birds from the terrace of the boat. At the mouth of Eracle Channel we shall stop and make a visit by boats to Eracle Lake where you can observe various species of Wildfowl. Lunch on boat – beef soup a la paysane and grape leaves stuffed with hashed pork meat. Sailing across the Danube we shall reach the village of Murighiol in the evening. Special dinner – raw vegetable salad, stuffed eggs and oriental salad, followed by grilled forcemeat small sausages (“mititei”) with French fries. Accommodation on board / in the guesthouse / in Tulcea.

Day 5 – Breakfast; farewell to the crew of the boat. On our way back to Bucharest we shall pass through an interesting karstregion. Lunch and wine-tasting at Niculitel vineyard. Arrival in Bucharest in the evening.

The program can be organized from Thursday to Monday or from Friday to Tuesday.

The price does not include:
- fishing tax ;
- soft and alcoholic drinks (except for drinks served for the meals);
- accommodation in Bucharest / Tulcea before & after the trip (if needed).

The tourists can use their personal cars for transportation Bucharest-Tulcea-Bucharest.
