Day 1: Arrival on the International Airport Bucharest Otopeni. Meeting with the Spanish speaking guide and the University Archeology teacher. Tourist assistance and transfer Bucharest - Constanta. Accommodation at 3* hotel, in Constanta.
Sightseeing tour of Constanta, including:
· The Roman Edifice with Mosaic, discovered in 1959, is located in Ovidiu Square. Built in the 4th century, this edifice stretched over 2000 square metters, from which 700 sq.m are still preserved
· The Roman Thermae (4th century), 300 sq.m
· Tomis Enclosure (7th – 6th centruy B.C.) and Archeological Park
· The five Antique Basilicas (5th century) with mural paintings
· The National History and Archeology Museum which shelter a wide range of archeological documents dating back from the Hamangia (“the thinker from Hamangia” and “the woman sitting”), Gumelnita & Boian Cultures

Day 2: Departure to the village Topalu, near Constanta, where one can see the archeological site of Capidava Citadel (Dacian citadel, 1st century). Our route continue crossing the Carasu river, and passing near “Valul lui Traian”, one of the three defending earth walls built during the Middle Ages, goes to Basarabi village. The Rupestral Complex in Basarabi, discovered in 1957 represents an important archeological monument, that certifies the presence of Christianity in Dobrudja for many centuries. The complex contains little churches and tombs carved in chalk between the 9th – 11th century AD. The most important historical monument in this region is “Tropaeum Traiani” in Adamclisi, raised between 106-109 AD at the order of Emperor Traian, to celebrate the Romans victory against the Dacians. In the same area one can see the ruins of Tropaeum Traiani citadel, built in the same period with the monument. The last objectif before the return to Constanta is Dervent Monastery, one of the remarkable religious places in Dobrudja. It proves to be another place where Saint Andrew, Chrits’s Apostle used to preach. Accommodation and dinner in Constanta, at 3* hotel.

Day 3: The route through Dobrudja goes away to Histria citadel which is the eldest town in Romania (Greek colony, 7th century BC) and to the museum of the citadel. In the afternoon, the way to Tulcea continue with a visit at the Roman citadel Argamum (near Jurilovca) and ends to the Roman citadel from Enisala, the former Roman fortification dating from 3rd century BC, which shelter the biggest Dacian necropolis from Romania. Accommodation and dinner at 3* hotel, in Tulcea, town known from the antiquity under the name of Aegyssus. If the time allows, the last museum visited is the History and Archeology Museum in Tulcea.

Day 4: Departure from Tulcea to Ciucurova, where one can visit the uniques two ancient rite monasteries in the world: Vovidenia and Uspenia. The route goes on to Gazi Ali Pasa Mosque in Babadag and the Roman Fortification (3-4th century BC) from the same town. The Paleochristian Basilica and Martyrs Tomb from Niculitel are the oldest religious place with “nartex” known until present. The Cocos monastery hosts a museum with old religious art exhibits. Accommodation and dinner at 3* hotel in Tulcea.

Day 5: On the way to Bucharest visit the Roman citadel of Arrubium, today named Macin. Sightseeing tour of Bucharest, including the ruins of the Old Princely Court and the National Museum of History. Accommodation and dinner at 3* hotel in Bucharest.

Day 6: Departure from Bucharest to Targoviste, where one can see the Chindia Tower, used as watch tower and prison. Another objectives here are the ruins of the former princely court of Wallachia. Our way goes on through the great mountain landscape of the Rucar – Bran corridor to the Bran Castle, built in 13th century as a border-post between Wallachia and Transylvania. On the way to Brasov visit the Rasnov mediaeval citadel built on the hill near the town. Accommodation and dinner at 3* hotel in Brasov.

Day 7: Return to Bucharest through Prahova Valley. On the way, we visit the Peles Castle, former summer residence of the king Carol I of Romania, built in Neo-Renaissance German style between 1876 and 1883. In the afternoon, we go to Oltenita, where one can see one of the best known archeological culture in Romania: Gumelnita culture, which has its own museum. Accommodation at 3* hotel in Bucharest. Dinner in Bucharest.

Day 8: Departure to Bulgarian border. Changing coaches and guidance in Giurgiu town, near Bulgarian border. Crossing the border to Bulgaria through Ruse. Departure to Sveshtari Thracian Tomb (UNESCO site). Site visit. Departure to Varna. Visit of the Archaeological museum (the oldestprocessed by a human being gold - dated 5th-6th millenium BC - Varna Necropolis). Dinner. Overnight at 3* hotel in Varna.

Day 9: Departure towards Pliska (first capital of Danubian Bulgaria, 681) , Preslav (second capital of Danubian Bulgaria, 9th century) , Madara (Madara Horseman barielief, UNESCO site), Shumen. Dinner and overnight at 4* hotel in Shumen. If time permits - visit the History museum).

Day 10: Departure towards Veliko Turnovo. Visit Nikopolis ad Istrum Roman town remains. Arrival Veliko Turnovo - the Medieval Capital City of Bulgaria, visit Tsarevets Royal Hill and the Fortress, Baldwin tower (the last crusade leader). Dinner. Overnight at 4* hotel in Veliko Turnovo.

Day 11: Departure via Shipka memorial peak (crossing Balkan Range) to Kazanluk. See the Thracian Tomb - replica (UNESCO site) and down to Hisar (Roman town of Diokletsianopol) and arrival in Plovdiv. Dinner and overnight at 4* hotel in Plovdiv.

Day 12: A day in Plovdiv with a visit of the Old Plovdiv, the Roman Amphitheatre, the Archaeology museum. Dinner and overnight at 4* hotel in Plovdiv.

Day 13: Departure towards Rila Monastery (the largest monastery in Bulgaria, UNESCO site). Departure towards Sofia. Short panoramic tour. Dinner. Accommodation at 4* deluxe hotel in Sofia.

Day 14: Tour of Sofia, St. George Rotunda (4th century), St. Sofia (6th century) - the oldest preserved in Sofia buildings, the Roman period remains and Archaeology museum. Transfer & tourist assistance to the International Sofia Airport.
