Week-ends in Bucharest

I. 1/2 day: Sightseeing tour of Bucharest

Visit the Palace of Parliament (“the People’s House”, the biggest building in Europe and the second large building in the world);
Visit the Village Museum, open air museum, one of the first in Europe;
Visit the Archbishop's Complex and Church;
Optional, we can organise dinner or lunch in a Romanian or international cuisine restaurant.

II. 1/2 day: Sightseeing tour of Bucharest


The Triumph Arch

Visit the Cotroceni Museum;
Visit the Village Museum (open air museum) or visit the Romanian Peasant Museum;
Visit the most important buildings in Bucharest (the Romanian Athenee, the National Military Club, the Palace Hall, Buildings of Romanian Gouvernment and Senat etc.);
Optional, we can organise dinner or lunch in a Romanian or international cuisine restaurant.

 

III. 1 day trip to Sinaia (about 280 km), including:


Visit the Peles Castle in Sinaia;
Visit the Pelisor Castle in Sinaia;
Visit the Sinaia Monastery;
Optional, visit the Hunting Museum of Carpathians in Posada or the Clocks Museum in Ploiesti
Optional, we can arrange the lunch in Sinaia, at 3* restaurant.

 

IV. 1 day at Curtea de Arges - Tārgoviste (about 350 km), including:

Curtea de Arges Monastery

Visit to the Bishop’s Church;
Visit the Monastery and the fountain of Master Manole;
Visit the former princely court in Târgoviste and the Chindia Tower.
Optional, we can arrange the lunch in Pitesti or Curtea de Arges, at 3* restaurant.

 

Notes:

1. Tariffs include transport by air-conditioned car with driver and guide (English, French, German, Italian speaking) and the entrance-fees to the objectives mentioned above
2. The programs can include, on request, 1 lunch or dinner in Romanian or International cuisine restaurants (~12 EUR/pax).
