Day 01 - Arrival at the International airport Bucharest Otopeni. Transfer to Ploiesti. Festive dinner with wine tasting (min 5 types) in Urlati, at “Urlateanu Boyard Manor”. Accommodation at 4* hotel in Sinaia. (130 km)

Day 02 - Visit the Peles and Pelisor Castles, built in neo-Renaissance style, ex-summer residence of the King Carol I of Romania and the most representative Renaissance building in Romania. Drive forward to Bran Castle, a symbol of Transylvania, also called “Dracula’s Castle”. Visit the saxon fortified church of Prejmer, from the 15-16th century. Sightseeing tour of Brasov. Festive dinner with wine tasting (5 types) and folklore show in Carpathian Stag wine cellar. Accommodation at 4* hotel in Brasov/ Poiana Brasov. (120 km)

Day 03 - Departure to Sighisoara, included on UNESCO List of World Heritage as a saxon fortress, the only one still fully inhabited in Europe. This fortress was mentioned for the first time in 1208, under the name “Castrum Sex”. Here we can visit the Torture Room, the Mediaeval Weapons Collection and the Tower Museum. Drive forward to Praid; in Praid we take a Romanian Lunch at the shepfold with palika-tasting (strong alcoholic romanian beverage ~60°). Return to Brasov. In the way, visit the open-air pottery exhibition from Corund. Dinner and accommodation at 4* hotel. (360 km)

Day 04 - Departure to Focsani. Champagne-tasting in Panciu vineyard (min. 5 types). Wine tasting in Odobesti vineyard (taste ones of the bests Romanian wines, like Golden of Odobesti, Tamaioasa Romaneasca etc. – min. 5 types. Drive forward to Bucharest. Festive dinner in Hanul lui Manuc. Accommodation at 4* hotel in Bucharest. (380 km)

Day 05 - Sightseeing tour of Bucharest (by coach and on foot), including visit at the Palace of Parliament, the second largest building in the world, after the US Pentagon and the first in Europe, the Patriarchal Complex and the former Romanian Princely Court (“The Old Court”). Departure to Giurgiu. Custom formalities. Crossing the border. (70 km)

Day 05 – Arrival at Russe by Romanian coach (meeting at Riga hotel) at 14:00 h.
Drive to Shumen (120 km). Wine tasting in the wine cellar “Domaine Boyar” in Shumen – grape brandy Muscat and four sorts of red wine Cabernet and Merlot. Dinner – specialities of Bulgarian cuisine in the tavern of Shumen Hotel 4*.

Day 06 – Sightseeing of Shumen – Tombul Mosque (18th c) and the Monument of the Founders of the Bulgarian State. Visit to the museum in Preslav, which exhibits artefacts from the period of the First Bulgarian Kingdom (7th-10thc.) Wine tasting in the wine cellar of Han Krum - white wines such as Chardonnay, Traminer, Rose “Han Krum”, Pinot gris and brandy “Preslav”. Drive to Veliko Tarnovo – capital of the Second Bulgarian Kingdom (12th –14th ) picturesquely situated on the hills at the banks of the river Jantra. Dinner, o/nt at 4* hotel in Veliko Tarnovo (190 km).

Day 07 – Sightseeing of the town with entrance to the mediaeval fortress of Tsarevets hill. Visit of Arbanassi village - architectural reserve with entrance to “Jesus Christ’s Nativity” Church and Konstanzliev’s house (merchants’ house from the 17th c.). Wine tasting of white and red wines such as Lyaskovets Chardonnay, Aligote and Cabernet in the wine cellar of Lyaskovets. Drive to Sofia. Dinner and o/nt at 4*hotel in Sofia. (280 km)

Day 08 – One day excursion to Rila Monastery – the largest and one of the oldest monasteries in Bulgaria, founded in the 10th c. with mediaeval defense tower from the 14th c. and frescos by the most prominent painters from the Bulgarian Revival period. Folklore evening with show and o/nt at 4*hotel in Sofia ( 260 km ).

Day 09 - Sightseeing tour of the city, including a walk in the central area with visit to Al. Nevski Cathedral, ruins of Roman and mediaeval period, St. George Rotunda (4th c. AD) St. Petka of the Saddlers Church. Optional visit to Boyana Church with unique frescoes from 11th – 13th c. and the National Museum of History. Transfer for departure flight.( approx.70 km ).

Day 09: Transfer to Bucharest. Accommodation and dinner at 4* Hotel in Bucharest.

Day 10: Departure from International Bucharest Otopeni airport.
